Omnia Midstream Partners, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, draws on more than 60 years of combined experience in the energy sector. Led by founding members Tim O’Sullivan and Chad Cagle, our team is committed to putting our knowledge base and specialized skill set to work for our clients each and every day.
Tim O’Sullivan
Founding Member
Prior to founding Omnia Midstream Partners LLC, Tim O’Sullivan spent over 30 years working in oil and gas midstream and upstream businesses. Beginning 1981, O’Sullivan served in a variety of roles at Koch Industries, Inc., starting as a business development analyst and then advancing to midstream and upstream profit center management, marketing and trading, and executive management.
In 2000, O’Sullivan joined Williams Marketing and Trading in an origination role where he began to focus on the deregulating electric-power markets. There, he pursued full-requirements power management and tolling opportunities with electric utilities and cooperatives. In 2005, O’Sullivan returned to the midstream oil and gas sector with SemGroup, LP and started its natural gas division, SemGas, LP. In 2009, he became SemGroup Corporation’s head of strategy and corporate development, leading both the strategic direction of the company and its mergers and acquisitions activities.
Mr. O’Sullivan began his career in the public accounting firm of Main Hurdman. He holds a BA in Business Administration and Accounting from Wichita State University and earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant in 1981.
Chad Cagle
Founding Member
Chad Cagle has more than 22 years of energy experience across the full breadth of the upstream and midstream sectors. He is an expert in organic and acquisition-oriented business development, project origination, field operations, and contract settlement. Before co-founding Omnia Midstream Partners, Cagle served as co-founder and COO of Connect Midstream. Prior to that, he served in several leadership roles at publicly traded companies Midstates Petroleum, QEP Resources, and SemGroup Corporation.
Mr. Cagle has extensive experience in the Mid-Continent, Permian, and Haynesville Oil and Gas plays, and has constructed and managed more than 1,000 miles of natural gas gathering pipelines, 800 Mmcfd of cryogenic processing, 125,000 HP of gathering compression, 200 miles of power distribution, 250,000 bbd of produced water disposal and 10,000 bbd of truck rack capacity. He is an expert on the interpretation and application of natural gas contract terms and has been involved with numerous acquisitions and divestitures of natural gas and natural gas liquids gathering, processing, treating, and transportation facilities.
Mr. Cagle holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma.
Ryan Dupree
Director of Data Analytics
His role and interests include delivering insights, analytics, and business intelligence to guide decisions. He is experienced in interpreting and analyzing data to help drive company growth and is passionate about using data analytics to improve company efficiencies and performance. His current role includes investigating correlations between grid power and O&G production, conducting load studies on various micro-grids to investigate power distribution, delivering data-driven feasibility studies and economic sensitivities for sizing solar photovoltaic arrays, and developing predictive forecast models for future grid power purchasing needs.
Prior to entering the data analytics profession, Ryan worked in the oil & gas industry for seven years as a petroleum geologist. He earned his B.S. in Geology from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette in 2005 and his M.S. in Geology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 2009. His role as a petroleum geologist involved implementing geological expertise through horizontal drilling operations in both the Fayetteville and Haynesville Shale plays.
Chris Geer
Director of Project Integration
Chris has more than 20 years of experience in electric power distribution, automation and process control. He has experience designing, constructing, commissioning and maintaining process equipment in chemical and midstream applications and in developing and maintaining technical support teams.
Prior to joining Omnia, Chris served as I&E Manager for SemGroup, where he led the automation team for U.S. Operations and managed electrical construction projects. These included electrical, automation and SCADA for Cryogenic Natural Gas Processing Plants, Natural Gas Compressor stations, D.O.T. regulated pipelines and gas gathering systems. Previous to this experience, Chris was a partner in GO Consulting Services and worked for ExxonMobil. Mr. Geer has a B.S. from St. Gregory’s University and an MBA from Northeastern State University.
